Gameplay of World of Goo 2

The gameplay in World of Goo 2 is based on the familiar scheme from the first part of the series. During the game, we take control of the titular “glutes” (goo – slime, slush), which we combine with each other to create various structures, such as bridges and towers. Our task is to design the gelatinous creations in such a way that the sticky balls can reach the exit of the level.

To make matters worse, the laws of physics apply to our intricately glued creations. Because of them, the connections between the balls may not hold if we put too much weight on them, causing, for example, a bridge stretched over a precipice to collapse, while a tall scaffolding may collapse if we don’t pay attention to its balance.

As we progress, the difficulty of the challenges we face increases, and over time we gain access to “gluts” with different properties.
