GRAVEN is a first-person action-adventure game. The production was conceived as a spiritual successor to Hexen II. The title was developed by Slipgate Ironworks studio, known for Kingpin: Reloaded and Rad Rodgers. GRAVEN download for free for PC.

The plot of the game

The action takes place in a desolate fantasy land. We play a priest who is condemned to exile and death for taking the life of an innocent man. However, during the execution of the sentence, something unprecedented happens. Instead of dying, the protagonist wakes up in a boat sailing through a mysterious swamp. The old man driving the boat hands him a magic wand and a book of spells, and in the priest’s head he hears the voice of a god commanding him to neutralise the plague ravaging the surrounding land and to eliminate the cultists responsible for it.

Game Mechanics

GRAVEN was designed as a spiritual successor to Hexen II, but the authors did not limit themselves to recreating the solutions of that classic. Instead, they drew on solutions and technological improvements from later shooters and immersive sim games.

In GRAVEN, events are seen through the eyes of the protagonist. The player explores levels that have a partially open structure, offering many alternative paths and hidden secrets. Throughout the game we fight enemies with white weapons, complete quests, collect items and solve puzzles.

Character Development

An important part of the gameplay is the spell system, which allows us to activate a wide range of different effects. Many spells interact with objects in the environment, allowing us not only to defeat enemies, but also to influence locations.

As you progress through the game, you can also purchase armour and weapon upgrades with the gold you find during your adventures. While exploring, we often come across inaccessible locations that we can later reach by unlocking new abilities or equipment.

Game Modes

GRAVEN has a single player mode and a cooperative mode for two or four players, both over the Internet and LAN. GRAVEN download for free for PC cracked.

Technical aspects

The game has attractive three-dimensional graphics developed in a retro style. The authors modelled the game on productions from the second half of the 1990s, which resulted, among other things, in textures with clearly visible pixels. At the same time, the scale of the maps, their detail and visual effects far exceed what was possible at the end of the 20th century.
