Multiversus is a multiplayer clash-oriented brawler with platforming elements. The production uses a free-to-play model with micropayments and was developed by the Player First Games studio. MultiVersus free download.

Game mechanics

The fun in Multiversus is in the skirmishes, where each player controls a single character chosen from an extensive gallery of warriors with unique abilities. The arenas are large and full of different types of platforms and objects, adding variety to the combat. This is a 2.5D production, meaning that the graphics are three-dimensional, but the gameplay takes place in two dimensions. The game offers an eye-catching, three-dimensional, cartoon-style visuals. A big treat for pop culture fans is that many of the characters are voiced by actors who have played them in cartoons and TV series.

Available characters

The game offers a rich selection of characters from Warner Bros.’ most famous brands. These include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn from the DC Comics universe, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Arya from Game of Thrones, Tom and Jerry, Johnny Bravo, Steven and Garnet from Steven Universe, Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty, Fred Flinstone, Finn Mertens and Dog Jake from Adventure Time and Bugs Bunny. There were also characters created specifically for the game, including a hairy animal known as Reindog, which is a combination of a reindeer and a dog.

Multiplayer mode

Multiversus offers exclusive multiplayer skirmishes in several variations. We can fight one-on-one or take part in four-player skirmishes on a head-to-head basis. There is also a 2v2 variant, in which two teams of two players battle it out, and success requires close cooperation between the partners. MultiVersus free download for PC.

It is worth mentioning that Multiversus has a cross-play feature that allows owners of different hardware platforms to play together. Progress made and items purchased on one system will be transferred to the other.
