The plot of the game

SaGa Emerald Beyond takes us on a journey through a variety of worlds, bordering on fantasy and science fiction, connected to the titular inter-dimensional space – Beyond. Among them we will find a futuristic universe of skyscrapers, as well as lands of witches and vampires.

We experience adventures in the skin of six characters: Tsunanori Mido, who wants to maintain his city’s protective barrier at all costs; the witch Ameya, who wants to regain her lost power; the vampire Siugnas, who wants to regain the throne of his world; Diva No. 5, a singing moth who has lost both her voice and her body; and the duo of Bonnie Blair and Formina Franklyn, who are investigating an assassination attempt.

How their fates unfold depends largely on our actions and choices, so each subsequent adventure may be different from the last. The title described contains the largest number of storylines of any previous game in the series.

Game mechanics

In SaGa Emerald Beyond, we view the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). As you wander through different locations, you will talk to their inhabitants, complete quests, recruit team members and face enemies.

Battles are fought in turn-based mode, and the key to success is positioning your characters on the battlefield and using their strengths and abilities. The latter can be combined into spectacular and deadly chain attacks. In addition, the ability to interrupt enemy attacks, inflict various positive effects on allies, and manipulate the order of actions also plays an important role.

The game does not feature a classic system of experience points and leveling up. Instead, character progression is closely linked to weapons and the skills assigned to them. SaGa Emerald Beyond download free for PC.
