Dungeons 4 is the fourth installment of the series launched in 2011. As was the case with the previous parts of the series, we are dealing with an RTS drawing handfuls from the legacy of the cult Dungeon Keeper. The plot of the game

The action of Dungeons 4 takes place in a fantastic land, after the events presented in the previous part of the series. During the game we once again play the role of the greatest evil – the ruler of darkness, who, with the trustworthy elf Thalya at his side, fights for power with the whole world. His actions do not escape the attention of the surface dwellers, who try to thwart his plans. To top it all off, this time the specter of danger from the underworld hangs over him and his army, where dwarves hungry for gold and jewels have spread out… ….

Game Mechanics

Dungeons 4 takes a bird’s eye view of the action. As before, the gameplay is based on two pillars. The first is the construction of dungeons, which are the home and base of operations for our minions. The dungeons must not only be large and comfortable, but also properly secured. After all, the heart of a dungeon is a greedy morsel for both humans and dwarves, who often organize expeditions there.

The second pillar of the game is skirmishes on the surface, to which we send troops recruited in the underground. The core of our army is made up of undead, demons, and the horde; the importance of the goblins has also been increased. We also use Thalya’s various abilities in dynamic battles. In addition to ranked enemy units, we will also encounter bosses (such as the unicorn) on the battlefield. With successive victories, we accumulate evil, which we use to gradually transform the green forests and glades into an awe-inspiring empire.

The developers have tried to make everything bigger than before. The surface world and the underworld are much larger than in Dungeons 3, we can send huge armies of different units into battle, and the range of options for controlling the dark creatures and punishing them for their misdeeds is also wider than before.

Game Modes

The mainstay of Dungeons 4 is the story campaign, in which a narrator familiar from previous installments tells us about the events that follow.
