In Prison Architect 2, we once again take on the role of a prison administrator. The core of the gameplay is the system developed for the first part of the series. So we start the game with a small facility and our head in it to make it grow and gradually become a model for other prisons.

On our shoulders are, among other things, issues related to setting the rules that govern life behind bars and creating schedules for the inmates. In addition, we are free to expand our prison by creating new rooms or buildings and deciding on their purpose, appearance, and equipment. Since our options are limited by the size of our wallets, we must consider economic issues when making decisions – and more.

Manage the rehabilitation of prisoners

Prisoners in Prison Architect 2 have more advanced artificial intelligence – they have their own goals, desires and needs, and can form relationships with other inmates. If they are completely forgotten and the prison becomes a place to serve a sentence rather than a rehabilitation facility, things will quickly get out of hand.

Game Modes

Graphics

The biggest novelty introduced in Prison Architect 2 is the three-dimensional graphics. The whole game – with the character models in the foreground – is kept in a slightly cartoonish, caricatured style.
