The plot of the game

The story takes place in North America in 1695. The main characters are Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, a pair of ghost hunters who are also lovers. During one of their missions, Antea dies, but her soul does not go to the afterlife. Taking advantage of her condition, the woman continues to support her partner as they both try to discover the reason why the hunter was trapped in the mortal world instead of going to the other side.

Game mechanics

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a fairly classic action-RPG. During the game, we explore the world, complete quests and, most importantly, fight against hordes of ghosts that harass people, relying mainly on our own skills.

During the game, the player can freely switch between characters. The fact that Red is a living warrior and Antea is a phantom affects their abilities both during and outside of skirmishes, adding variety to the game. Each of these characters also has a unique progression tree, allowing you to unlock new skills and upgrades.

The game’s storyline is fairly non-linear, and as you progress through the game, you will have to make regular decisions that will affect the course of the story and the fate of the people and phenomena you encounter.
