Sometimes the most important thing is a well-balanced combat system, while for others it is the action of the game itself that counts, which can take place, for example, during World War II. The universe is also important. Many people (including us!) explode at the thought of a new game set in the world of Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. The hallmark of modern action games is a big budget. Creating a full-fledged AAA game means many hours of motion capture sessions, soundtrack, etc. It is not easy to design all this, which is why these games cost tens (sometimes hundreds) of millions of dollars. Of course, it’s not only big games that people live from, and independent developers add their bricks in the form of indie action games.
