EA Sports FC 24 is a sports game focused on club and national football rivalries, and is the successor to the FIFA series launched in 1993. The new brand, like the series, was developed by the EA Sports studio. The title change was the result of a disagreement with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). Game modes

Following the example of the popular FIFA, in EA Sports FC 24 we take part in football matches and try to win more trophies. In the game, we have the option of playing both a quick match and a career, in which we can follow the fate of a coach or individual player on their way to the top.

EA Sports FC 24 sees the return of Volta Football (inspired by street soccer) and the hugely popular Ultimate Team modes. The latter will once again allow you to build your own team from packs of players, either bought or drawn. However, there have been significant changes, including the ability to create hybrid squads – made up of both men and women. The team chemistry system remains the same and there is still a bonus for using a team based on a single nationality or league.

Another major change is the introduction of Ultimate Team Evolution, which allows players and teams to improve by meeting certain criteria. Our team no longer needs to be made up entirely of stars to be on a par with our rivals’ squads. What’s more, in EA Sports FC 24 it’s not just the overall rating of the players that matters, but also their playing style – different configurations will affect the way the team behaves during the match.

Licences

The production boasts a full licence for more than 19,000 players, 700 teams, 100 stadiums and 30 leagues. Thanks to this, EA Sports FC 24 features teams from both the most famous competitions (Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga) and the less popular ones (K League). Technical issues

The game is powered by a new version of the Frostbite engine, which makes it possible to accurately reproduce the appearance and movements of the players, as well as the realistic behaviour of their outfits during matches. It’s worth noting that, unlike the latest instalments of FIF, the Nintendo Switch version of EA Sports FC 24 does not differ from other platforms in terms of basic content (excluding cross-play features). However, the title has been adapted to take advantage of the hybrid console’s capabilities.

Meanwhile, PC and ninth-generation platform users will be able to take advantage of HyperMotionV technology, which uses volumetric data from more than 180 matches to bring authentic player movements to the game (including 1200 running styles).
