What does Secret of the Mimic have in store?

This time, the developers at Steel Wool Studios take us to the forgotten workshop of Murray’s Costume Manor, where the mysterious inventor Edwin Murray left behind more than anyone could have expected.
Players take on the role of a daredevil entering Murray’s long-abandoned workshop to uncover secrets hidden for years. Everything you find inside may be a clue, but it could also be a deadly trap. At the heart of the story is Mimik: a prototype endoskeleton that can mimic and take on various forms. It can take the shape of any character, including your greatest fear. Your task is to recover Fazbear’s secret technology, but the road to your goal will not be easy. You will only receive a few gadgets and heavily censored documentation at the start. You will have to discover the rest yourself – every step you take could determine whether you survive.
The gameplay is full of horror
The creators of FNAF: Secret of the Mimic have opted for familiar and beloved mechanics, full of unexpected twists and turns. Exploring the labyrinthine corridors of the abandoned mansion not only gives you the chance to learn about Edwin Murray’s past, but also forces you to constantly avoid the Mimic. This extremely intelligent opponent adapts to the player’s actions, meaning that each game will be different.
There will also be environmental puzzles that require logical thinking and perceptiveness. The feeling of being trapped is intensified by dynamic environmental changes – light, shadows and sounds can provide clues or create illusions that lead to traps.
When will we get scared?
Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Secret of the Mimic is scheduled for release on 13 June 2025 and will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Of course, we are offering the game for free.
