It’s game time!

Football fans are by far the most numerous, so let’s get on with it. The FIFA series from EA Sports is the pinnacle of sports gaming. Thousands of clubs, licensed players, stadiums and more. Multiple game modes, including the hugely popular Ultimate Team. It’s a temple for football fans. Electronic Arts have certainly gone all out here. However, it is worth knowing that FIFA is changing its name. FIFA 23 is the last to bear this title. It will continue to be called EA Sports FC. We have to accept that. FIFA’s eternal rival, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer, has unfortunately failed to live up to expectations. It used to be a great alternative and even led the whole race. It was more of a simulator than an arcade game. Unfortunately, it also changed its name to efootball and went from there. For sentimental reasons, however, we are keeping our fingers crossed for the series!

EA is sticking to football, while other sports are the domain of 2K. Basketball, WWE, golf, hockey – all in excellent quality. NBA 2K reigns supreme among basketball fans year after year. The full licence for this popular US sport is dazzling. Add to that an abundance of gadgets, atmosphere and tactical battles. This is no easy game! WWE 2K is a superb fighting simulator – wrestling has never been more alive! PGA Tour 2K is the best virtual golf on the market. The list goes on… There’s something for everyone!

Which PC sports games are worth playing?

Some players want more than just sport. They dream of management. And they can’t be picky. Football Manager is a best-seller that overwhelms with the different ways to manage your football club. It is challenging, realistic and incredibly addictive. A similar alternative has been prepared for lovers of other sports. Pro Cycling Manager is a cyclist’s dream, while Tennis Manager lets you manage a tennis school. Thanks to our Iga Świątek, this has been a very popular topic lately! Each of these realistic simulators has a network aspect, so you can play with friends in peace. And let’s not even talk about the previous games – multiplayer is the name of the game there!

More than just FIFA and NBA – the best PC sports games

You can’t write about sports games and only mention the most popular ones. That would be unfair. Are you into skateboarding? The days of Tony Hawk are long gone, but the remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is out – a great PC game that will make you feel nostalgic! Who doesn’t miss skateboarding? Fight fans don’t have to limit themselves to WWE either. EA offers its ‘mordobats’ in the form of EA Sports UFC. The company puts the emphasis on realism. And well done! Extreme sports fans will also have something to look forward to. What about STEEP from the Ubisoft studio? Great animations, character physics – winter sports require dexterity. Board, ski, wingsuit!
