Star Wars: Outlaws is an open-world action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. The production was developed by the Ubisoft Massive studio, and is one of the first Star Wars licensed projects since 2013 not released by Electronic Arts. Star Wars: Outlaws free download for PC.

The plot of the game

Star Wars: Outlaws takes place between the events depicted in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the fifth and sixth instalments of the cinematic saga. The creators chose this period in the history of the Star Wars universe because it was the time when the underworld was in full bloom; the Rebellion had not yet managed to consolidate its position, and under the nose of the mighty Empire, criminal syndicates, led by the Pyke and Hutts, were emerging, specialising in exploiting the weaknesses of the system.

The main character of the game is Kay Vess, or Smuggler, whom we follow as she transforms from a young, inexperienced girl into a woman respected by the entire criminal underworld. Thanks to her skills, the protagonist quickly becomes one of the main tools of the underworld, which forces her to play on different sides. Her loyal friends – the furry Nix and a rebellious droid named ND-5 – join her on adventures that take her to various corners of the distant galaxy.

Game mechanics

Star Wars: Outlaws is played from a third-person perspective (TPP). The production offers a vast world with a number of unique planets. On them we will find wilderness stretching to the horizon, as well as densely populated cities with cantinas full of types from under the dark star and opportunities to earn money. We can cross the different globs on foot or in a fast and agile racer.

The title also allows us to take control of the heroine’s spaceship, the Trailblazer. Sitting at the helm, we will travel through interplanetary space and engage in breathtaking battles, with plenty of opportunities to perform the iconic superluminal jumps to cover huge distances in fractions of a second.

Interesting quests and diverse enemies

The driving force of the game is the story-driven quests, which are accompanied by a variety of side missions and activities. As you complete them, you will have to make decisions that will affect the fate of the heroine and her companions. The missions include infiltrating secret locations and stealing valuable items that can fetch a fortune on the black market.

We are often hampered in this by enemies, with whom we engage in dynamic clashes using a blaster with various modes of operation. As the enemies can outnumber us, it is often better to stay quiet and take them out by surprise than to attack frontally. Technical issues

Star Wars: Outlaws boasts high quality graphics. The locations are varied and full of fine detail, and the character models, led by the main character played by Humberly Gonzalez, are also excellent. The audio layer is also remarkable, with an atmospheric soundtrack and sounds characteristic of the Star Wars universe.
