The plot of the game
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League takes place in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham series and is part of the so-called Arkhamverse. The game continues the storylines of previous Rocksteady Studios productions. However, instead of dark Gotham, the action takes place in Metropolis, modelled on New York, a wealthy city inhabited by Superman.
The game’s main characters are Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, who have been implanted with deadly explosives in their heads and forcibly integrated into the infamous Task Force X squad, also known as the Suicide Legion, led by Amanda Waller. They must embark on an extremely difficult mission to save Earth and kill the Justice League’s greatest superheroes. The character-driven storyline features the evil Superman, who is targeted by the Suicide Legion.
Gameplay
Gameplay in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a combination of Rocksteady’s classic story-driven action game and co-operative shooter, so a lot of time is spent exploring the open world, wreaking havoc in Metropolis and taking out enemies.
In the game, we take on the role of one of four playable characters: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark. Each has a different set of special abilities, gadgets and weapons, fighting style and way of moving around the city. Captain Boomerang, for example, can teleport short distances, while Deadshot uses a jetpack not only to fly but also to set enemies on fire.
There is a character progression system in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, so as the game progresses we can upgrade our skills and equipment to take down enemies, including powerful members of the Justice League, with even greater ease.
Team up
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League offers solo or co-operative gameplay for up to four players. In single-player mode, the artificial intelligence takes control of the other characters, although you can switch between them at will. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League free download for PC.
Technical issues
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been developed exclusively for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, which guarantees high quality visuals. The atmosphere of the game is lighter than in previous Rocksteady Studios productions, and there is no shortage of (often black) humour. The tone has been kept in the style of the Suicide Squad comic books and movies, and the sprawling and incredibly detailed city of Metropolis is saturated with colour, in contrast to the gritty Gotham.
