The plot of the game

The Last Faith takes us on a journey to a dark fantasy land, more specifically to the gothic city of Mythringal, the capital of a powerful kingdom. The metropolis was first shaken by a deadly civil war, then fell victim to a plague that brought it to the brink of collapse. The religious cult that rules here has abandoned the city’s inhabitants to their fate, though all seems not yet lost.

Eric, who suffers from amnesia, takes matters into his own hands and, while searching for answers to questions about an ancient prophecy, becomes embroiled in an intrigue of much greater magnitude. In this way, the protagonist gradually discovers the truth about the corruption consuming this world.

Game Mechanics

The Last Faith is a side-scrolling action game. Throughout the game, we traverse vast and varied locations, including mighty citadels, palaces and temples, or the trembling underground. All of these places make up a large map, creating a kind of elaborate labyrinth, and although we can roam freely through them, we can only gain access to many areas after acquiring certain equipment or skills.

The exploration is enriched by environmental puzzles and encounters with all kinds of monsters – from walking to flying to crawling. Among the enemies we will find both smaller enemies, whose defeat usually does not require the use of fancy tactics, and much more powerful bosses, which impress not only by their size, but also by their resistance and attack power.

Combat is an important part of the gameplay. During the fights you will have to show not only speed and reflexes (to dodge and counterattack in time), but also use Eric’s rich arsenal and abilities. The hero uses white weapons and firearms (the latter mainly to break the enemy’s defensive posture), as well as offensive magic.

In addition, the combat potential of the weapon can be increased by imbuing it with the powers of various elements, providing various buffs (such as Diamond Dust, which can freeze the enemy for a short time). The Last Faith free download PC full version.

Technical issues

The Last Faith has dark graphics made in pixel art technique. The whole game presents a high quality; you will like both the design of the locations, kept in gothic style, and the various nightmare-like enemies.
