Story of the game
The plot of The Outlast Trials takes place during the Cold War. During this time, the Murkoff Corporation conducts experiments on mind control. This research is carried out in a special complex.
During the adventure, we take on the role of one of the corporation’s prisoners, trying to survive in a facility full of crazy people. At the same time, we collect evidence of the Murkoff Corporation’s criminal activities.
Game mechanics
The Outlast Trials does not impose a specific protagonist on us – instead, we create our own character. We then enter the Murkoff Centre, which acts as a lobby. From its level, we can enter successive trials in which we test our survival skills.
During these tests, we explore successive rooms filled with different creatures. The most prominent of these are Mother Gooseberry and the corrupt policeman Coyle. This duo also serves as the title’s main antagonists. As if that weren’t enough, deadly traps are set at every turn.
The production gives us a lot of freedom in how we act in any given situation. We can choose to confront the enemy or hide in a place where they cannot find us.
As you progress through the adventure, you will also gain experience, which you can use for various upgrades. These will help you in the later stages of the game. The Outlast Trials free download for PC cracked.
